The Sadaqah Platform is an Islamic fintech solution designed to modernize charitable giving across the Muslim world. It provides individuals and organizations with a transparent, Sharia-compliant platform for managing Sadaqah (voluntary charity), Zakat (obligatory charity), and Waqf (endowment) contributions. The platform features real-time fund tracking, automated Zakat calculations based on individual wealth portfolios, multi-currency support (including crypto), and complete transparency through blockchain-verified donation trails.

The Challenge
Existing donation platforms lacked Sharia compliance verification, had no automated Zakat calculation tools, and offered limited transparency into how funds were distributed. Donors in the MENA and South Asian regions wanted assurance that their contributions were being managed according to Islamic principles. The client also needed multi-currency support (USD, AED, SAR, INR, plus cryptocurrencies) and the ability to operate across 6+ countries with different regulatory requirements.
Our Solution
We built a full-stack platform with a custom Zakat calculation engine that integrates with financial data sources to compute obligations based on Nisab thresholds and asset categories. Donation trails are recorded on a private Hyperledger blockchain for immutable transparency. The platform supports 8 currencies with real-time conversion, integrates with regional payment gateways (Stripe, PayTabs, Razorpay), and includes an admin dashboard for charity organizations to manage campaigns, track disbursements, and generate compliance reports.
